Hello, I live here. Who do you think you are staring at?
A small but perfectly formed room
Sunday and we take the ferry across Derwentwater
Done it, it was a bit windy
Monday for Angle Tarn and Haysewater
Two of our intrepid adventurers, pleased to be down.
Tuesday and Rosthwaite, waiting for the start
So we set off round the wettest valley in the Lakes according to David
Sunningly beautiful at every turn
Luverly trousers Grommet!
Not entirely trouble free though
And back for tea in pint mugs. We lst stopped here on the Cumbria Way
Wednesday and we set off for Haystacks
Pretty huh, the walk up was worth it
The lunch stop was a wee bit wet
Nobody takes my Pasty - got it
Crossing streams can be tricky on wobbly rocks
Thursday, Striding Edge and Helvellyn Day
For once the umbrella was to keep the sun off! It was a glorious day
Clambering along the edgy bit
Some rock climbing required
This is where I could do with longer legs
Finally the top of Helvellyn
Lovely views, 360 degrees
Friday. We walked to Styhead Tarn. Others walked Great Gable but it was misty.
That bleak grandure is there at the higher levels
You again! Hope you had a nice time, goodbye.
We are off to climb Catbells
I wimped out on this one but our heros went on. It was pouring with rain and very windy, look at the grass.
Here we are gathering in the rain and gloom ready for Linda's walk round Borrowdale. In fact it turned into a nice day and the scenery was stunning
After much arrangement of cars, leaving some at Thirlmere, by the Kings Head, we assembled at Glenridding and began climbing with Mike in charge
